Fine decorations project completed at The Wallace Collection

Sykes have completed a project to the main staircase at The Wallace Collection, consisting of full protection to ornate balustrading and handrails, independent designed scaffold to enable a team of ten art handlers take down 4no large paintings from the staircase walls and store within the landing on a purposely constructed storage rack.

We carried out fine decorations to the ceiling, gilding, graining and marbling throughout.

Additionally, Sykes have renewed/upgraded the lighting scheme to bring this up to 21st century standard complete with WIFI connectivity & Bluetooth operations
