King’s Gallery At Kensington Palace

Sykes’ project in the King’s Gallery at Kensington Palace is nearly complete .

The French Oak floors have received their two coats of OSMO oil, following their installation and the complete electrical rewiring and structural repairs underneath and upon the cornice. There a few small items of works left to do over the next few weeks as Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) will begin to prepare all the spaces Sykes have worked upon for a grand exhibition in the Spring of 2023.

Sykes’ collaborative works with HRP will also be the culmination of three years and three phases reservicing and revitalising The Queen’s State Apartments as well as the King’s State Apartments.
