On Saturday 19th September, Gary Fleming, Rob Watkins, Tony Adams, Tom Newbury, Kaleigh Devlin, Peter Hensler, Howard Meissenheimer and Jon Burr from Sykes & Son Limited are taking on the 50km Trekfest Challenge in the Brecon Beacons.

We are aiming to raise £5,000 for our charity of the year, Coram’s Fields. This wonderful charity supports young children in the Bloomsbury area, and we look forward to becoming their near neighbours when we move offices later in the year. The Coram’s Fields charity has been in existence since 1936 and we want to support them as much as we can to help them survive in these difficult times.

The closure of Coram’s Fields due to COVID-19 left the charity with an uncertain future. In a community which sees half of its children living in poverty, they are relied upon by thousands of families each year. They need emergency funding so that they can be resilient through this crisis, and ensure that their park, playground and vital facilities are available for local families for generations to come.

Our fundraising challenge will see us take on the 50km (31 miles) route, tackling some of the biggest peaks in the Brecon Beacons.
